Port Augusta Technical College

SKS Technologies successfully delivered a high performance communications cabling system for the newly constructed Port Augusta Technical College. The installation features a ground floor Main Communications Room (MCR) equipped with 45RU cabinets to support ICT and security infrastructure. A wall mounted Systimax VisiPatch frame serves as the central termination point for all horizontal cabling, including network switch ties. Category 6A consolidation points are ceiling mounted across both floors to service work areas, with structured cabling supporting connectivity for workstations, Wi-Fi, CCTV, BMS, and vape detection systems. The system is backed by a 25 year extended product and application warranty from CommScope, ensuring long term reliability and performance.
